Look how this tiny leaf is bravely breaking through the lean stems of its mother Poinsettia, reaching towards the light to live!

Every birth demands a breaking open that is usually painful and requires sacrifice. God is being “itself” and all of creation participates in Him.

May this tiny expression of life remind us that with God’s grace, we too can break out of whatever place on the stem of life we are now.

As we do so, may we trust that, nourished and nurtured by His love, He is calling us not just to be born, but also, reaching up to Him in right order, to thrive.
